Signature Solar Care ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

When you submit a quote request, contact us by phone or email, or enter a service agreement with us, we collect: your name, contact details (phone, email, address), property details (suburb, panel count, roof type, access notes), photos you choose to share, and any notes you provide.

We also collect technical information automatically when you use our website (see section 3 below).

2. How we use it

We use this information to: provide you with a quote, schedule and complete the work, send you the photo report and invoice, manage referrals and credits (where applicable), follow up on the service, and improve our service over time. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Website analytics and cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site running, remember preferences (such as session state) and understand how visitors use the site. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit.

We use these in two broad ways:

• Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g. quote form session, admin login session). These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
• Analytics — aggregated information about page views, navigation paths and visitor numbers. If we use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or similar), data is stored and processed by those providers under their own privacy policies.

You can control or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect site functionality.

4. Advertising pixels and tracking

If we run paid advertising, our website may include tracking pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag) to measure ad performance and show relevant ads on other sites. These pixels share limited information with the advertising platform under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalised advertising via the relevant platform's settings.

5. Third-party booking and CRM tools

We use a small number of third-party tools to run the business — for example, our email provider, SMS provider, and any booking or customer-management software. These providers process the personal information you give us solely to deliver the service you have requested, under their own privacy policies. We choose providers with reasonable security practices.

6. Photo storage and customer reports

Job photos and service reports are stored on systems used by our business and any tools above. Photos that identify a property (address, surname, vehicle) are kept internal. Anonymous job photos may be used as marketing examples (e.g. the website gallery) under section 12 of our Terms of Service. If you do not want your photos used this way, just let us know at the time of booking.

7. Storage and security

Lead and customer details are stored in a secured database accessed only by authorised team members. We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including limiting access, using secure connections and keeping software up to date.

8. Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to complete the work, provide ongoing support and meet our legal obligations. Service reports may be kept for a reasonable warranty and tax-record period.

9. Access, corrections and deletion

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email signaturesolarcare@gmail.com or call 0428 907 999. Some information may be retained to meet legal record-keeping obligations.

10. Marketing and unsubscribing

Where you have provided your details for a quote or service, we may occasionally email you about your account, referrals, or related services. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from marketing only; we will still contact you about active bookings.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
